Portrait of my
daughter in law

I achieved what I wanted with this portrait. While I was drawing I had in mind lines from the poem "Prayer for my Daughter" by W.B. Yeats:
"
May she be granted beauty and yet not
Beauty to make a stranger's eye distraught,"

She is a very beautiful girl but in a quiet style that a stranger would not pick up on unless they were very discerning. I hope you see it in this portrait.
